Mr Ken Buttrum and his wife Helen visited our school this week to fulfill a promise they had made to several WWHS students they had recently billeted in Penrith as part of the Nepean/West Wyalong Rotary Work Experience Program.
Ken has been a long term supporter of the Program and each year faces the challenging task of finding workplacements for WWHS students. Sixteen students were hosted by the Nepean Club this year.
On their visit to West Wyalong the Buttrums were given a tour of our area which included in part, a visit to the Wetlands, Evolution Gold Mine, Pace Farms and Broomby's farming enterprise. PS They thought the Drama performance was fantastic. (more photos in the gallery)
