Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school event may include:

school orientation days
sports carnivals
open day and school tours
Harmony Week and Book Week events
excursions and incursions
performances, concerts or school productions
fundraising, charity and community events
award assemblies
graduation and other celebrations.

CHS Chess Tournament

Date: Monday 1 June

A group of students will participate in the CHS Chess Tournament in Young.

Youth Mental Health Forum

Date: Tuesday 2 June

A group of Year 10 students will attend the Youth Mental Health Forum in Wagga Wagga.

Year 7 2027 Taster Day

Date: Thursday 4 June

Year 6 students will attend a Taster Day at WWHS with a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) and Creative & Performing Arts (CAPA).

TAFE Taster Program

Date: Friday 5 June

A group of Year 9 & 10 students will continue their TAFE Taster in the mechanical and fabrication industry. This program will be completed over four Fridays.
