On this week's assembly (March 7th) Mr Duncan spoke about an opportunity for year 10 and 11 to develop their coaching skills with an NRL development officer.
Rowan and Frazer gave a report on their CHS soccer they competed in last week, The team only had 1 substitute and were up 1 - 0 at halftime but lost in the end 11 - 1. We are very proud of their efforts and sportsmanship.
Mr Bishop reminded students about their student information forms and year 10 and 11 vaccination forms and told students that scooters are not to be ridden in school grounds and advised them to be careful on roads.
Mr Bishop also spoke about the importance of attendance at school and discussed Western Region trials encouraging those interested to see him. He concluded his address by wishing the boys and girls competing in basketball next Tuesday good luck.
The leaders then discussed International Women's Day, the purpose of the day and the changes that needed to be made to have equality in our society.
