Congratulations to all students who attended and participated in the Swimming Carnival last Friday. It was a great day weatherwise and there were plenty great swims in terms of both effort and skill.
While the Age Champions and Runners Up will be presented at assembly on Wednesday (and listed in the next newsletter), we can reveal the record breakers and House Champions for the swimming carnival.
Congratulations to those students who were elected as House Captains and Vice Captains prior to the carnival. They are all listed below and did a great job organising and motivating their House groups throughout the day.

All students who participated and helped with the running of the day were thanked and congratulated for their efforts.
There was a change in the balance of the swimming carnival results after Farrar dominated the leader board in recent years. Neeld were again consistent however, the big improvers were Brigden who lifted themselves off the bottom from last year to finish second. Congratulations to Neeld. They will need to do well in the athletics carnival to win the House Champions trophy because the others are not that far behind them.
Neeld: 471 points
Brigden: 448
Farrar: 423
Hargreaves: 389
There were a number of outstanding performances that led to new records while some competitors gave records a shake and missed out by very small margins. It was great to see their many hours of training pay off with these great swims.
