Year 8 have been busy for a term and a half working on various projects in Mathematics. They have created a paintball field developing and utilising their Area and Perimeter skills. They also created a business and used Fractions, Decimals, and Percentages to demonstrate the costs associated with their business. Another topic they worked on was Angles and Congruency. At the end of this topic, all students joined forces with another student, utilising their newly learned skills to make a hologram. The students were given no information on how to do this. This meant they had to rely on their 21st century research skills. Some students were successful in making their hologram however, all students learned valuable lessons from their mistakes along the way. It was great to see all students working together to reach a common goal.
