The University of Western Sydney contacted West Wyalong High School and offered to present a workshop to Year 7 students.
The workshop was aimed at rural students, exposing them to the courses offered at universities and the ways in that they could enter these courses.
The University of Western Sydney hired a company called "Gibber" who sent out three people to deliver the message. They presented it as a play and engaged the students with various role plays and videos. They spoke about gap years, different pathways, and a variety of courses. The information was general to all universities and exposed the students to some new ideas and ways of thinking about their futures.
