Year 7 travelled to Wollongong for three days on the 8th, 9th and 10th of March. There were several great activities organised for the three days and all students came home after learning something new about surf safety, the Hindu temple, their bowling skills, living with other people and even some things about themselves.
Over the three days they participated in:
- Ten Pin Bowling
- Visited the lighthouse
- Attended a tour at the Sri Venkateswara Temple
- Completed some teamwork activities
- Participated in water activities at the Surf and Leisure Resort, where we stayed
- Played mini-golf, tennis and basketball at the Resort
- Attended a Surf Awareness session at the Towradgi Surf Lifesaving club
- Had a great time at the Jamberoo Fun Park
The Year 7 students extended their thanks to the school for organising the excursion and gave special thanks to Mrs Hetherington, Mr Grintell, Miss Maslin and Mr Duncan.
There are a number of photos from the excursion in the photo gallery.
