The Year 9 and 10 Elective History class has been studying Hero's and Villian's during term one. As part of this study the class attended the Spirit of ANZAC Centenary Experience travelling exhibition while it was in Orange.
This exhibition tells the story of Australia's involvement in the First World War and our subsequent century of service. This is the flagship community event of the Australian Government's ANZAC Centenary national program.
The students walked through recreated First World War environments featuring innovative, interactive displays. The displays showcased over 200 artefacts from the Australian War Memorial. The majority of these artefacts had never been seen by the public before this exhibition.
The students learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition.
